CPAP, APAP, and BiLevel devices keep your airway open with gentle air pressure. Choosing the right device comes down to prescription, comfort features (humidification, quiet operation, ramp), and lifestyle (home vs. travel). We stock leading models with clear screens, app connectivity, and proven reliability—plus travel units for light packing. Unsure whether CPAP, auto-titrating CPAP, or BiLevel is right? Our team can help interpret your prescription and setup options. We ship across Canada and support you after purchase with setup guidance and follow-up.

Common Questions

What’s the difference between CPAP, APAP, and BiPAP machines?

CPAP therapy delivers one fixed pressure all night. APAP (auto-CPAP) automatically adjusts pressure as your needs change. BiPAP provides two pressures (inhale/exhale) and is used when additional support is indicated under clinical guidance.

Which PAP machine is right for me?

Match the device to your prescription and clinical needs first (CPAP/APAP vs BiPAP), then compare comfort features like humidifier, heated tubing, noise level, size, and data access. If unsure, start with CPAP/APAP and ask your clinician or our Respiratory Therapist before purchase.

Do I need a prescription to buy a CPAP machine in Canada?

Yes, a valid prescription will need to be obtained prior to purchase. Funding programs (e.g., Ontario’s ADP) also require a physician diagnosis/prescription. Check our prescription policy for details.

Can I travel or fly with my CPAP?

Yes. CPAP devices are considered medical equipment by airlines. Travel models are smaller and lighter, and many support battery options. External battery packs or outlet adaptors may be required to function properly on flight and or, at your destination; always check airline and destination rules.

How long does a CPAP machine last, and what’s the warranty?

With proper care, machines commonly last 5 or more years. Warranty terms vary by brand; see the product page for coverage length and process.

How loud are modern CPAP devices?

They’re designed to be very quiet—typically comparable to bedside background noise. Check each product’s listed sound level and user reviews.
