CPAP masks from ResMed, Philips Respironics, and Fisher & Paykel—comfortable fit, secure seal, better sleep. The right fit should feel snug, not tight: no pressure points, minimal morning marks, and a steady seal as you change positions. No prescription required for masks. RRT support and free shipping on select orders. See our Shipping page for details.

Fit basics: start with loose straps, turn your device on, then tighten gently until leaks stop—over-tightening often makes leaks worse. Check the seal in your usual sleep position and re-seat the cushion as needed. Use each brand’s sizing guide; most masks include multiple cushion sizes (S/M/L). For comfort, try mask liners or a different cushion style if you notice bridge or nostril soreness. Clean cushions regularly and refresh them every 1–3 months (headgear as needed) to maintain a reliable seal. Need guidance? An RRT can suggest two or three options based on your sleep position and pressure.

Common Questions

Which CPAP mask is best for me?

The “best CPAP mask” is the one that seals comfortably for your face and sleep style. In general: nasal pillows = minimal contact (great for side sleepers, lower pressures); nasal masks = balanced choice for nose breathers; full-face masks = best for mouth breathing, congestion, or higher pressures. If you wake with leaks or marks, the fit—not the brand—is usually the issue. (See our sizing resources or talk to an RRT.)

How do I stop CPAP mask leaks?

Start with clean cushion and skin. Turn your device on, lie in your usual sleep position, then gently tighten headgear until leaks stop—over-tightening often worsens leaks. Re-seat the cushion if the seal whistles when you move. Replace worn cushions regularly; consider mask liners or an alternate cushion shape if you have facial hair or bridge soreness.

What size CPAP mask do I need?

Use the brand’s CPAP mask sizing guide or printable template. For nasal and full-face masks, measure from the bridge of the nose to above/below the lip; for nasal pillows, choose the smallest size that seals without irritation.

Do I need a prescription to buy a CPAP mask in Canada?

No prescription is required for CPAP masks in Canada. Prescriptions are needed for CPAP/APAP/BiLevel machines. Insurance coverage for masks varies by plan; check your benefits. (Ontario’s ADP applies to eligible devices; confirm what your plan covers for accessories.)

How often should I replace CPAP mask parts?

Cushions typically last 1–3 months depending on oils, cleaning routine, and hours of use. Headgear often lasts 6–12 months before losing elasticity; frames can last longer. Signs it’s time: persistent leaks, yellowing or cracking silicone, or straps that won’t hold a fit.

Are CPAP masks compatible with my machine?

Most masks use a standard 22 mm connection and work across brands. Exceptions exist (some travel devices or proprietary connectors may need an adapter). Check the product page for “Compatibility” notes or ask us to confirm before you buy.
